Early Years' Official Opening

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress of Bromley to Early Years to officially open the premises. Having moved during lockdown earlier this year it was brilliant to finally be able to host some of the people who have been so important to the service.

Guests were treated to nibbles and drinks on arrival before short speeches from CEO, Tracie Coultas-Pitman and Founder and Chair of Trustees, Karen Sorab OBE. The Mayor shared a few words around how he feels we are breaking new ground with the service here in Bromley, and how it fits perfectly alongside their charitable focus of supporting the education of children and young adults in need. The Mayor cut the ribbon to declare Early Years officially open, allowing guests the chance to have tours of the facilities and observe some of the activities going on in the afternoon sessions.

We are extremely proud of how far the service has come and are thrilled to be part of the community in Bromley. Thank you to all our guests for sharing the day with us and in particular the Mayor and Mayoress for giving up their time.

Our Early Years’ service is run entirely on voluntary grants and donations. If you’d like to help keep our service free for those that use it, please donate today.
