End of BeyondAutism Nursery pilot

As we approach the end of our pilot of a 2-day BeyondAutism Nursery provision at Early Years in Bromley, we have had to take the difficult decision to close the service at the end of this academic year.

We have had some great feedback from parents and are starting to see real progress in the children who attend. It has however become clear over the course of the pilot that under the current model and staffing structure, and in our current premises, we are not able to scale the service to a level that will enable us to meet the needs of children and make it a financially viable service for us, as a charity, to continue operating.

We are now working with families for the remainder of the summer term to ensure that each child has a positive transition to an alternative setting, supported by our team, whether that is moving on to pre-school, attending our Early Years’ service or a new nursery setting.

We remain committed to leading autism education and support for children and families in the early years and will continue to invest in our successful Early Years’ model.
