Sarah LarnerWelcome to the BeyondAutism Early Years’ website. Our service has been developed for autistic young children, their families and for professionals working with them.

Accessing support, tailored to individual needs, at as early an age as possible, is so important for children with communication difficulties. Children’s learning starts within the family, when they begin to develop their earliest bonds, essential social skills and emotional wellbeing.

Parents are supported by our experienced interdisciplinary team during this crucial time, to empower them to build skills, knowledge and confidence to:

  • support their children in developing communication and language - through play, and learning essential skills that they can build upon throughout their journey in education
  • and to better understand and cope with their child’s behaviours that challenge.

Professionals accessing our service and using our training facilities will be learning strategies and developing confidence to be able to meet the needs of autistic children in school, enabling them to make academic progress and prevent exclusion due to behaviours that challenge.

Our Early Years’ and Pre-School Groups are funded entirely by donations and rely on the generous support of individuals and trusts. Please help us make a difference by donating here.

We hope that you find our website useful, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact us with any queries you may have.
